🍀 Irish-Inspired Shepherd’s Pie with COSPRO Grinder

With hearty beef, vegetables, and creamy mashed potatoes baked into a golden pie, it’s the perfect dish for St. Patrick’s Day—or even a fun nod to Pi Day (3.14!). Finished with freshly ground salt and pepper from the COSPRO Grinder, this cozy classic becomes a flavorful moment worth sharing.

Ingredients (serves 3–4):

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb

  • 1 cup diced carrots

  • ½ cup peas

  • ½ cup diced onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt (freshly ground with COSPRO grinder)

  • ½ tsp black pepper (freshly ground with COSPRO grinder)

  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add ground beef or lamb and cook until browned.

  4. Stir in carrots and peas and cook for another 3–4 minutes.

  5. Season with freshly ground salt and pepper using the COSPRO Grinder.

  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread mashed potatoes evenly on top.

  7. Dot with butter and bake for 20 minutes until golden on top.

  8. Finish with another light grind of black pepper before serving.
